Mecanizaciones y Fabricaciones S.A.U. (MEFASA) is, since 1965, a private company that manufactures Capital Goods in Metal and Plastics, a 100% subsidiary of ASTURIANA DE ZINC, S.A.U, one of the world's largest producers of electrolytic Zinc belonging to the GLENCORE group.

We are located in San Juan de Nieva (Aviles-Asturias) with our own dock and direct access to the Bay of Avilés, what allows to manufacture equipments without dimensions limitations to be loaded.

Our strengths are focused on the manufacture of mechanically welded equipment, in Metal and Plastics or Composite Materials, with large capacities in boilermaking, welding, machining and surface treatments and own experience in different sectors of industry such as iron and steel, pulp and paper, chemical and petrochemical, energy, milling, mining, oil & gas, etc.
